This album reflects how often someone feels the need to make the same choices over and over, but it’s all a facade to cover the pain. Makes Me Sick Again talks about love, feeling overwhelmed in life, feeling useless or angry. They are saying this while the music is a fun and upbeat rhythm because that’s how everyone who listens to it wants to feel, they want to have fun even when feeling negative. New Found Glory do this album over because they have repeated mistakes over and over, they fell in love, they cheated, they did drugs and watch people make the same mistakes over and over. They redo this album and add more songs because at the end, they reflect on how much they surrounded themselves with exaggerated points of view and they feel confident in how to have fun going forward. It’s ok to be messy and make the same mistakes but take a step back and reflect on how you’re feeling inside when the fun goes quiet.
