“Don’t judge a book by its cover!” That’s a saying everyone has heard, but as a reader myself, I judge a book by the cover. Sometimes a minimalist design catches my eye, a book with only type, or a book with gorgeous imagery is enough for me to pick it up, then I read the back. From there I open it up or I buy it to crack it open, the interior usually isn’t too different, but how it’s structured matters. Is there enough space for the thumbs, is the margins giving enough breathing room that is legible with the book binding. The numbers are supposed to be consistent as well and follow a pattern.

These are interior page designs for both cover redesigns. They associate with the style of the cover design in the flow line, the chapter design.
